edelbrock on a ported head

so i got this edelbrock in off of ebay, and had to order a new throttle cable cause the other one was missing the piece on the end and was a little boogered up on the part that goes to the carb, so i got a couple of days to get the bike ready for it. the question is, i got my head P&P'ed and they ported the intake boot to fit. should i port the intake boot for the edelbrock also, or just leave it be?

it sure wont hurt to port and polish it if it dont cost much.

Yes match the aluminum spacer to your intake. Otherwise your going to have a whole bunch of disturbance in flow right there
