Electrical problem cdi i think

I just did a frame up rebuild and have no fire anywhere not to the lights pr nothing i was messing around with the cdi and woof the lights came on i ifidled around with it saw their was a skinned wire repaired it tried it again and now i cant get anything at all. U guys think its e cdi its self?

the lighs don't turn on with the key on engine off? it sound more of a battery cable then anything, but it is possible that yoyu could have shorted out the cdi box

I think thatswhat it is, does all electrical circuits go threwthe cdi box? And also i have a spare cdi from a 99,mine is an 03 is their a way to use the 99 box, they have the same connecters i think but they arent compatible...

does anybody have a wiring diagram for an 03 warrior for the cdi sytem i could see?
