Just put a new battery on my 98 350 warrior. When I try to start it, it's taking it forever to turn the motor. What could this be? It's like the motor isn't turning fast enough

thats most likely the one way bearing behind the flywheel. remove the stator cover and look at the starter and the gear behind the flywheel and make sure theyre spinning fast and if the flywheel is turning slow or not at all its the bearing. $50 on ebay

Okay I'll try that. I'll mp you if I have further questions. Thanks

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO DON'T DO THAT! There is a pin that holds the gear in between the starter and starter clutch gear and it is held in place by the stator cover. If you turn it over with the cover off you could run the risk of cracking the case, then it's dun-fucked up.

i do it all the time that pin goes all the way through that gear into the case a little just hold it
