ok i need some opinions. in about 3 weeks, i will be getting the top end back and will be ready to bolt it on to the bottom end. i just have one problem. the reason for the rebuild is cam bearing failure which wiped out everything in the head. yesterday, i took the clutch cover off to put in a new oil pump. when i took the cover off, there were metal shavings all throughout the oil. i have talked to some people and they said i better disassemble the whole bottom end to clean it out. however, i go back to college monday so i cant work on it and i dont really trust myself to tear into the bottom end. would there be any other way to flush it out really good without disassemble it? i really want to get this running when im home again but i dont want to wipe everything out because of the metal shavings. thanks
