i am thinking about boaring out my warrior. i have a spare 350 at my cottage i was guna take the cylinder and head off. any sugestions ? with the boaring, how big? stock cam still ok to use or just for all out a get a new cam

thanks

this i sbased on what ive read, i have no experience with doing these typed of mods, but if your looking in to boring out the cylinder, the max you can do is 85 without having to install a new sleeve, then if you want to get a cam go with poweroll or just about anything but hot cams, i dont know if its needed, i think you could get by with some jets and a pipe, but you should talk to deadlast, i know he has the 366 big bore, then the powerroll cam i believe he has

you dont need a cam but it sure helps because you can choose a cam to put the power in the rpm range that works for how and where u ride. there are 3 cam manufacturesthat i know of, they are webcam, powerroll, and megacycle. if you do a cam you have to change the valve springs, retainers and such which you can by in a kit. also if you do a cam i would suggest you replace the valve seals and have the valve guides checked and replace if necessary. if i remember right in the links section there are links to all of they're sites.
