Please vote then give brief description why prefer someone who has one of these but all opinions count so give them

with my motor i just want to do a bore because its cheaper, it makes good power and its revable (i like a revable motor because spent most of the time in the upper powerband)
but if i got a deal on a 446 motor id have a hard time passing it up

You gotta give better information than than that if you want good answers man. It all depends on what you're setting it up for, what kind of riding do you do? Woods, hill climbs, mx, flat track? You'll want a different setup depending on what you do. Budget is also a big part of it so give us some guidelines there.

(What should i choose for my engine for reliability in hare scrambles) lol hare scrambles is racing through woods, hills, mud, trees, ect i may hit up mx track at ridin park but not lookin to compete mx

basically im tryin to build a warrior with ur guys opinion its a people choice yfm350 lol i have a decent quad that performs well stock (450) just wantin a project bike and i love warriors and that was my first quad so im goin with that, wishin i never sold mine lol

Yeah, if you want something that's going to seem like a real beast, the 446 probably works with the warrior's characteristics the best. They're best in the midrange stock, it takes a lot to get high revving power out of them, but the 446 and a mid cam gives them a **** ton of torque. Not a good kit if you're going to be on the track revving the piss out of it, strokers don't like high rpms and it's air cooled so cooling becomes a problem if you beat on it too much.

Figure on rebuilding the clutch to handle the extra power, go with all new factory plates plus an extra steel plate, and some of the stiff EBC springs, it'll never slip. Definitely going to want an oil cooler system on it too, whether you go with the clutch cover method or use the big bear adapter is up to you, both have their advantages and disadvantages. I had the big bear setup on mine and if i were to do it again, I think I would do the clutch cover tap this time.

Then, if you want my opinion, it needs a sneaky pete nitrous system... good fun to be had with that! That one's somewhere on the to-do list for my dual sport.

ya thats true and hare scrambles may take their toll on the 446 with heat due to mud on head ect i dont think anyone has really ever raced a 446 or put many hours on one?

holy **** that is exactly the one i wanna build, guess mind is made up, 446 is way to go. Any idea what compression these 446's are running? can it be done 10.5-1? and also what cams they run on these engines? how come there is no build sheet on his elite page i wonder

If you want some info about builds contact Mickey at Four Stroke Tech (fourstroketech.net). He's a really helpful guy and extremely knowledgable about warrior builds, he can help you decide what's right for your setup if you want an professional opinion.
