I knew it was to good to be true! So that $25 header deal I found is not so much a deal after all. Either my exhaust (which I got back and looks freakin amazing) which is a full system, has a longer header pipe or the new FMF header has been cut?

I'm short 2" with the FMF now.

(the rear isn't tightened down so that's why its not aligned in the pic) My options are to sell it, once I find out how long a stock exhaust is (mount to sleeve, please if someone could measure for me) or to take it to a pipe builder or expert welder and add a 2" piece added to the end of it?

It's possible that the incompatibility problem is with your full system. Companies that sell full systems don't always worry about matching up with stock dimensions, they're designing their header to work with their silencer, so they really don't have a reason to give a **** about it being swappable with other headers. I don't know for a fact that DMC is that way, but I know that some others are, like DG, their full systems are only good as a pair, either part seperate won't work with stock or other aftermarket parts without modification.

On the flip side, if somebody did have that FMF Powerbomb installed in a situation similar to yours, where it was replacing the header that came with a full system, they might have sawed it off to make it fit.

Comparing pictures, i'm leaning towards the problem being your powerbomb is hacked off a few inches short. Your pic is blurry but it sort of looks like a rough cut to FMF's standards. Comparing pictures, it also looks like your powerbomb doesn't come out as far as a stock header.

I couldn't find any perfect pictures to display this, but here's a side view of my warrior, with the stock header, and heat shield in place. The slip joint between the header and HMF is right behind the back of the heat shield, the header pipe comes flush to the end of that heat shield. Looking at it in reference to the reverse lever, it kinda looks like your silencer pipe is in the right place, but the header is coming up short. (if that makes any sense, it does to me, but I don't know how to explain it any better). Below are the best pics I could find to show how long the stock header is in relation to everything else.

Yeah. I'm leaning towards the cut idea as well. I was trying to show that the end seemed a bit rough. I think I still want to make this header work, so now I just need to find a local custom exhaust builder that can add 2" to my pipe or hopefully I can just feed it some Extenze pills and be done with it!

I have a stock silencer that is no good ,if you want to cut it up for more length.

simple way is to take a trip to autozone and get some 1 3/4 pipe and 2 exhaust clamps..

But honestly if it were me and i was really trying to make this work i would move the slip on back till it fit. Anyone running an airbox wont be able to but people like me with no airbox would have plenty of room. If you decide to get rid of it let me know... im up for making it fit.

The yosh hangs out the back a little too far for my tastes anyway. But performs like no other haha.

Already moved my rear exhaust mount forward an 1". I wanted the pipe to slip into the header more as is. Anyways, the header for sure has been cut and if I were to sell it to anyone (someone off this site, because everyone knows how much I got it for) id have to have it fixed or they be pissed that it wouldn't fit. Anyways, I got it out to the local welders this morning so I should be ready to roll again here real soon.
