If you have enough cold brews it won't matter much what they taste like lol

Im not saying anyones idea is better but from building exhaust systems for cars for the last 15yrs, i recomend you just paint them, both will keep the rust off but i have seen many of car headers rotted out from the heat rap cloth,, think they hold the moisture in if they get wet, from time to time yes they will dry out but painted steel will let the water run wright off, now i dont no about wheeler exhaust but thats just my two cents and i can say i used a wire wheel on mine to get all the rust off and painted mine with header paint so we'll see..

Paint on exhaust systems works great. I need to get in the habbit of using it when I weld candy caines or pipe together on customer vehicles. But, then again, I have many a customer's vehicle that has had the same exhaust on it for the last 7 years without issue. Biggest thing is making sure you get good penetration with your welds, and that you don't have that one little pin hole that lets all the moisture in. Using aluminize pipe is best. I have seen some car headers with the wrap and they have all been rotted out beneath the wrapping. Either paint em or buy ceramic coated, and even painting them doesn't always work. How the wrap does on a quad, idk.
