extra plug?

tinkering with the quad i noticed an extra plug up front.. i have
2 plugs for the headlights,
1 plug for the handle bar multi-switch
1 quick connect for the headlight
4 quick connects for the R & N lights

and one extra plug.. anyone know what its for? I tested it and it is hot with the key on.

You have your parking brake disconnected?

what do you mean "quick connect for the headlight"?

You should have 2 spade connectors for the clutch switch and a single plastic 2 wire connector for the parking brake safety switch. That's what my money is on for being your mystery switch, the parking brake switches are a common cause for problems and are usually disconnected.

yepp.. im an idiot.. my parking brake is disconnected.. and i am the one that disconnected it..
