it did need some work. you cant really tell in the first picture though. when i got it, the starter was shot and so were the rear axle bearings. since i got it so cheap, i decided to tear it down to the frame and put the money i saved back into it. it is pretty much stock, but has all new bearings, bushings, clutch, cables, brakes, chain, sprockets, hand guards, grips, stainless steel bolts, skid plate, intake, and a ton of other odds and ends. probably around 7-800 in **** you cant see, but gives me a sense of security knowing that i have a solid foundation now. just find a guy in college that is hard up for cash. i know i sold all kind of things when i was in college just to get by, and buy beer, of course.

it's a 2001. when the starter went out, the guy found a cheap pull starter on ebay and put that on instead of a new starter.

i appreciate all the comments. after i got it done, i was half tempted to sell it and make a profit on it until i rode it and fell in love with it. here in a couple of weeks i should have death's exhaust and shocks on it, a new set of holeshot hds and a new set of bars. i'm hoping that at the beginning of april i will have enough money for some a-arms.

I haven't had any bad experiences with my battery yet, but if it were up to me I would have a kick start and no battery at all.

20warrior01 when can I travel to newburgh and ride it?? Oh yeah also I noticed that your heel guards are starting to rust. I got mine laying around if you are interested in them.
