Well whatever it is I don't care. I got some I don't need...

that was a pic from when i first got it. before and after. there was a lot of surface rust on a lot of parts. the guy that had it before me kept it under a carport so some rain did get on it. all the rust is fixed now.

i too wish they had a kickstart. i would use that as my primary.

[quote:eek:uvwde0t]that will be the next thing happening because we have had bad experiences with the battery

I haven't had any bad experiences with my battery yet, but if it were up to me I would have a kick start and no battery at all.

20warrior01 when can I travel to newburgh and ride it?? Oh yeah also I noticed that your heel guards are starting to rust. I got mine laying around if you are interested in them. [/quote:eek:uvwde0t]

actually, pelphrey, next time you head this way, i would like for you to ride it. since i bought it used, i have no idea if it has the power it should or not. when we were working on it, we drained the oil and there were metal shavings in it. changed the filter and oil, rode it for about 5-10 hours and drained the oil again when we changed the clutch. there were still shavings in the oil. in the future, i do plan on atleast rebuilding the top end, but for now i'm just curious if there is much of a power loss. i dont have death's t4 on it yet, but since you just recently put yours on, you probably still remember how yours felt when it was stock.

let me know also if you wanna check out that spot right up the road from my house too. i'll probably start riding again in 3-4 weeks.

not to shabby, as long as she runs, dats all the really counts

she runs pretty strong, but i only have a 250 recon, a 91 300 fourtrax and a rancher to compare it to.
