You need to ask Weston about the EX/2nd gen set up. Honestly, I say ALL stock uppers suck. All it took was for one to fold up on me when I was riding.

Bump how are those a-arms coming along Pat????

Going to be starting on them this week. My heim b/joints came in Sat. and when I looked at them I knew they weren't right. Looked up my order and sure enough, I forgot to specify Yamaha taper. Dumbass... But, I can make both sides with the 2 that I have been running. I'm waiting on return instructions for the ones I ordered wrong. Unless someone wants to buy them for a project on a Honda/Suzuki/Kawasaki?

well my a arms were just here but i didnt get to keep them today cuz UPS is retarded and want 157$ brokerage fee

never order anything outta the US shipped by UPS (usps all the way they never charge me anything)

Okay guys, this is what we are looking at on these lower arms. I had the time to cut off the ball joint from my extra arms. Turns out that the tube they use is not as HD as I thought. It is only .060" wall!!!! I was not happy to find this. The DOM I use is .120". That's twice the thickness. The problem you have is getting good penetration on both pieces on steel. Get good penet on the thinner, and there might not be enough on the thicker. Get good penet on the thicker, and you can thin-out or eat through the thinner. There are ways around this. But require more time.

Because of this I do not feel that is worth exploring this any further. Sorry to get your spirits up only to drop them. I just see these things being problem matic. More leverage will be applied to the .060" and could bend/break. To do it right will require making complete arms. I'm not one to do the work twice, so I'm not going to waste my time and attempt this, only to do it again in the near future.

Now, that being said, I'm sure that everyone is asking, "how much we talkin"? The answer is ZERO. As much as I like to help members out I cannot cut my own throat, and that is what I would be doing if I made and sold COMPLETE arms. By the time it would be all said and done, you'd be spending what you can get FullFlights for. And mine do not come with heims or tie rods. For me to sell them at a price that people would pay, I wouldn't make hardly anything. It is on my mind to make arms for myself, but, even then I'm still undecided. I'm really sorry guys. Was expecting more from this venture.

Yeah I was surprised to see them THAT thin. If you guys are cool with running flipped rims, I will see about setting up a jig and making the uppers that I'm running. Prob sell em for 125 shipped for the pair.

Okay. I'll get a jig set up as soon as I can. It will not come with heims. Those will have to be bought from FullFlight. Cost about $67 after tax and shipping. The flipped rims still work well and give you that +2 look. Atleast with these arms you won't have to worry about them breaking on you, balljoints are FAR cheaper, and you have adjustable camber. I MAY be willing to paint them, too. Depends on how froggy I feel, and what color you want. Can do anything that Rustolium offers.

dude dont rush yourself with making em. i got to get monies together. should be working these next upcoming weekends so ill have some cash flowing. my first prority is buying an oil cooler setup.
