I need to get the jig made up anyway while my arms are off. The sooner I make it, the faster I can get the arms painted and back on the bike.

I'm gonna buy a bunch of DOM round stock, and have a friend thats gonna help me build my swinger.. We talked about a-arms, and think we can build a set without making any bends?
We'll find out in time.

In theory you can do it without bends. I had thought about that, but I didn't like the cut angle that would be welded to the mounting tube, and the heim "boss"/tube. It would be pretty easy to get away with one bend in each tube. Saw those arms that came on that bike Beastly just got, and dismantled. They looked to only have one bend per tube. Get yourself some type of pipe bender, and maybe throw some heat on the part you want to bend, and get er done. Actually it isn't that hard. The worst part is keeping the knucle propped up to get the caster setting right, and to get the right length and posistion of the heim "boss"/tube.

I'm definitly gonna do my homework before I start fabbing. I like the bendy look, like the ones 87 made. But I don't have access to a bender. We'll have to see what I can come up with? I want them to be tuff.

You can get a manual pipe bender for a decent price. Will just require more effort. That is why I said you may have/want to heat up the are you are bending. Just use 1" DOM with either .120 or .156 wall. PLENTY tough. IMO, .156 is a little over kill, and does add some weight. But, I don't feel like tracking down .120 since the .156 is what I've been getting.

lol. I put it there because the sentence needed it. Wasn't actually "saying" anything by it. But since you brought it up, I would have KILLED to have found a bike like that when I bought mine.

Lol ya except the quad wasnt mine all my uncle wanted was a nice quad with that front end so i traded him my spare motor and time putting it together for the parts plus it completes my quad with my nice titled frame:iagree:

What I freakin deal dude. I spent 350 on mine, and EVERYTHING was broken, beat, and scared. I'm surprised I got it to start and run.

Bump. Is my club sticker design good to go? If so I'm sending them to deadlast today or tomorrow!

yep can do. later.... i got shitloads of drivers training stuff to do right now.
