Hello, to make a long story short I have a 01 warrior. The rod bearing was shot so I replaced bottom end with what I was told was a 99. I have everything put back together with everything ohmd and every wire checked but I have no spark. My question is are all flywheels compatible? The two that I have are different and I'm wondering if that's my problem. Im unsure if the difference on the outside of them is just for balancing everything. The strip on my 01 flywheel is Prolly 3 inches long and the supposed 99 is Prolly around and inch. Could/will/is this causing my no spark issue?? Thanks in advance!

I would have tried already but don't have
The removal tool. Just curious If flywheel between different years matters.

Any advice on getting flywheel off without the specific yamaha tool?

I've seen several people try and fail to pull it off without the tool. I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true. Well worth the money, saves a ton of headaches lol
