what is a good forum for tech ?s that will get answers..I cut my boot and broke my CV joint on my new big bear and I bought a new half shaft.....I took out the old half shaft, but the snap ring for the end of the axle is beyond the bearings where the axle rests.
There is another snap ring keeping the bearings in i can take that out and replace all the bearings when they fall out all over or is there an easier way to get the axle in the snap ring.....
I was told the whole axle should come out with a good bang but only the half shaft came out..the end is still attached to diff via a snap ring...
Riva parts finder shows a view of it, but they letter the parts and do not identify it well
