well, i havent really had time to really ride it yet. for the little bit that i have been able to check it out, so far so good. i still have to get my carb tuned, but rebuilding it, did seem to fix the problem with the overflowing gas. my brother is going to be coming to town over thanksgiving and we are planning on doing as much riding as possible. i'm definitely gonna have to get the carb tuned and make sure that everything is good to go.

ok, the warrior has been sitting for awhile and when i started it, white smoke came out. after it warmed up, the smoke stopped. valve seal problems? gas in the motor caused it? let me know

Maybe just some condensation in the exhaust... white smoke is usually water.

Oil related smoke generally has a greyish or blue'ish tint to it. Gasoline doesnt really effect valve-guide seals.

called up yamaha too and they said probably condensation also. just kinda made me nervous because i never had the problem before and having the gas in the motor made me wonder. was adjusting the carb and lost the circlip so i havent picked one up yet. i dont particularly want to drive all the way across town to the yamaha shop. do you think that the honda dealer would have the circlip for either the needle or the one for the throttle? i think they are the same size.

nevermind on the circlip. can you believe that when it popped out, it stayed on the inside of the side of the carb? what are the odds?
