This is what I'm racing in the District 14 Harescrambles. Most of the pics are when it was still set up wide for some MX, before the Raptor clutch setup and a couple other mods, and I have since taken all the stupid stickers off. It also still has the shitty Holeshots in all the pics but the last one, where I have my new Hook-ups mounted.
There's a drain/fill plug on the front of the carrier.
The footpeg mounts were bored out and steel tubing was inserted and welded. Tubes were also welded onto the frame in front of the motor. Do-it-yourself Pro-peg frame mounts.
Handmade sprocket cover. I took the Amplink off.
Upper shock mounts were removed and replaced with multi-holed mounts and custom billet ears. Adjustable ride height.
Oil cooler.
I can still hang pretty good for 40 years old!
People ragged on me when I first started racing it, until I started whipping ass with it. Tons of guys were overheating their spiffy 450's at the OMA National last weekend in the heat and mud, but I didn't have any problems. The only thing I can't beat to the first turn is the KTM 525's. And with the lazy, heavy steering, I don't even need a steering stabilizer! lol
