Well I was looking to trade my warrior for a 400cc bike. But as luck has it a guy had a Suzuki 400z he needed to get rid of and was looking for a hand gun in trade. I had an extra one that I had traded for that I traded him. So basically I got this for free.

Needs a battery, ignition switch and valves adjusted.

Nice. I used to have one. Rebuilt the topend. Have fun adjusting the valves, you'll need a shim kit. Unless it is hard starting, then the valves are cupped and you'll need to replace them.

Yup I unlisted it once I got home. It will now be my 12 y/o sons bike/ my back up bike.

Might try to trade the wifes warrior for an automatic 4 wheeler. She isn't liking the clutch.

After all that nice work we've seen done on it, I'd hold on to it and at least enjoy it this coming summer.

Cool man. Good trade right there. If you decide you want more power from it, Cylinder works has bolt on big bore kits at very good prices. Btw, what year is it? There is a very good thread on here about those bikes. It all started when Jons was looking at one.

damn, what kind of gun did you trade? A Kimber?
LOL No that's the funny part, I traded him a S&W SW9GVE Sigma 9mm. A $300 gun brand new and gave him 500 rounds. I traded for the gun and ammo so really I paid nothing for this bike.

I adjusted the valves it was very easy. But 1 intake valve had 0 lash when I first checked. Right then I knew the head was about to get rebuilt. But I re shimmed all the valves and she fired right up but with a loud ticking up top.

So the head is coming off today and going to my friend to get ported and new valves and springs along with hotcams, Since I'm in there and it ould cost $300 I'm doing a 440cc big bore kit also. Should be pretty nice when Im done.

I would do the 440 kit, too. No sense in not replacing the piston and rings while you are at it.

Yeah I'm getting a FCR for it.

Would there be any benefit to putting the stock 400 carb on my warrior?

Looks like it would be alot of work and modifying not sure if it would be worth it.
