I haven't personally heard or seen a yamaha amp up close nor have I seen one of their guitars. but I have heard from other people on the internet that they are pretty good

Yamaha audio equipment is far superior to most other companies... or at least thats what ive seen and heard.

Sorry JR but yamaha ******* sucks when it comes to anything guitar.

DAMN I want an amp that big! I had a marshall 15 watt then I saved up and bought a Line 6 30 watt. thought it was awesome. but now I regret buying it cause it doesn't sound as good loud as my friend's amp.. so if I wanna buy another amp my dad will be like you just got one...

I bet that big marshall costed you a lot of hard earned money!

nice acoustic klutchbuster. I never realyl like to play them just cause they're so big. they always make my ribs sore from the edges.

I've spend around $10,000 dollars on guitar equipment. I have a great job (service tech at a John Deere dealership). Which helps! This setup is actually a stereo setup with the stereo effects on the outer two 4x12's (you see the effecs processor and Mesa Boogie stereo power amp on the center cab) and the center being dry sound (Marshall). Gives you a lot of depth to the the sound and makes it sound huge basically. There is a lot good cheap guitar gear on e-bay, you just have to know what to look for.

the only thing about ebay is most of this stuff is from the U.S and costs a lot to ship. I can't wait till I get a huge amp like that! but now I think I am going to have to save up for a mic system cause I might sing in experimental band #2 since #1 NEVER PLAYS! so I dno how much that costs but i know my friend has a P.A system and it looks expensive but maybe daddio can help his nice son out :)

I said audio equipment... i heard yamaha surround sound systems that put other companies to shame.

Guitars and amps i have no idea.... but an amp is nothing more than a speaker in a box with an amp on it.

Oh I copy you. I just don't think you have any idea on what your talking about right now. Yamaha sound systems, like house systems or PA.? Yamaha putting other companys to shame, like who? I thought we were talking about guitars in this thread? Guitar amplifier is nothing more then a box with speakers?... ok. This is like saying your warrior engine is nothing more then some metal and moving parts. There's nothing to it really! WTF?

there really isn't much to a guitar amp... basically it is just a box with a speaker and power amp...

to be honest I think yamaha guitars suck but I haven't played one or seen one in person. I don't even know about yamaha amps. all I know is Fender, Marshal, and Line 6 make some of the best amps out there

i just cant really see a guitar amp having much else in it(not that i know... i have no knowledge in guitars). You have input (from the guitar) power, output(to the speaker) and adjustable levels like bass and whatever else they have. The amp on my speaker box in my truck does the same thing and also has all those things... so i was just assuming the 2 are the same.... but if i was to put a connector on the 2 RCA leads coming from my amp so that i could plug a guitar wire into it it would do the same thing.. just wouldnt sound as good since its set up for mostly bass (not that i like bass.... good sounding systems improve the sound of all music from country to metal hence why i have it haha)

and Im talking about surround systems for homes. I cant say ive heard them all but i can tell you the ones i have heard are pretty damn nice.. Im no pro im just going by what ive heard.. you would know more about guitar stuff than me.

Again i know nothing about guitars.... i was just stating what ive heard as far as yamaha sound stuff with my own ears.... ive never been around anything like your set-up though.... but i was around some pretty massive yamaha home systems and they were awesome.... i just thought they would also sound good with guitars because of that..
