i have had the skid plate since almost day one. the problem thought is that my friend had bent it on his old bike so now it does not protect the brake.

Did you put on just the banshee j linkage or did you use the little 4in piece that bolts onto it too? It looks like it your pic with the shifter and pegs that all you used was the j linkage.

i did change out the 4 inch dogbone. i found out the j linkage is the same as the warriors, found out after i bought one lol. it will raise the rear up about a inch. me being a bigger guy it felt better.

been working on her a little the past couple of days to prep for the new head going on later this month. did the spring and cap mod, fixed how my bumper sat, put new lights on, and made brackets for my hood so i dont use zip ties again lol

i already knew how to do it just kept forgetting the pens at home when i went to work on the bike lol the cap has been done for a few months but forgot to take a pic of it when i did it. funny part is i kept saying "this cap mod is doing nothing" that is till i looked at my spring and then it was night and day. you had a great writ up though.

thanks dude. yea the cap mod doesnt do anything without the spring! im gunna redo it with better pics with my new camera too so it will be improved!

well worth it it you do both at the same time. throttle response is way better now.

light hole cover is good that is where i mounted the new lights, ended up adding a bracket behind it with a couple of nuts welded on to it so the lights stayed tight and did not flex. i ended up taking the fins off for the time being.

Ya the cover was never designed for mounting lights to!!! LOL

the previous owner deleted a lot of the brackets on the bike before he sold it and i use to have my lights under the fenders but i have already been through two sets in the past four months and enough was enough.
