After my quad sits it won't start up I have no idea what it is anytime it gets cold it takes forever to start I have taken the lid off and removed the baffle so maybe I need to up the pilot jet or adjust the carb? I'm not sure but I would like a couple opinions?

You should probably clean the carb and up the pilot and main jet if the plug is reading lean

You need to first determine why it is not starting. Is it a fuel or ignition issue? Have to find that out first.

How would I go about doing so pat? I'm still fairly new to carbs been through the whole motor and have been through thee carb but still not sure about it or the electrical things And already cleaned the carb 2000

Easiest way is to give it a shot of starting fluid. If the ignition system is working well, it'll fire right up. Which means carb problems. If not, ignition problems. Best to use an inline spark tester between the plug and ignition wire to test for spark.

Good point. I assumed it started but it was hard since he titled it hard starts.

Sorry lol it does start it just takes forever sometimes

That's fine. I would check for spark like Pat said and see if it has good spark and what size jets do you have in the carb?

The jets are stock size I was told bumping the pilot would help by ed yet every time I go to a stupid stealership they either don't have the jet I need or tell me the one they give me is going to work and it doesn't -_- like I said once I run the bike for a little but and get it hot it starts like the second time it turns over every time but if it sits over night it takes me like 10 mins to get it to start

I just replaced my timing chain maybe I need to set my timing again could it have went pit of whack? I know I set it right when I was done but could the chain have wore in and the timing need adjusted again?

Here is a place to get the jets: http://www.jetsrus.com/a_jet_kit_atv/yamaha_350_YFM350X_warrior.htm

It might be worth checking
