has anyone used a widening kit

I bought one of those kits. As soon as it arrived and I took it out of the package I said **** THAT! They are heavy stamped 1/4" steel plates. They must have weighed 30 lbs. They never went on my quad, waste of money. End of story.

Dont get one. They are vertically strong i guess but soon as you even hit something they fold up. Trust me I know a few people with them.

Diamond j has a front end widening kit. I bought it and installed it and it gives the warrior a better feel and ride. I also have a g force widening axle and it was the best thing I could have done to it. There's an article in dirt wheels about the widening kit and there not that expensive either
