Have a question about transmission.

Would it be possible for me to take pictures of the transmission parts and post here to tell what needs to be replaced or should I take the transmission parts in to a mechanic to get it all checked out? I just don't want to spend money if I dont have to but I get it if it would be to hard to tell in the pics.

I know the gear teeth are good but the dogs I'm unsure about. I'm unsure about the forward gear forks I'm pretty sure that one of the forward ones are pretty worn and that the reverse one is for sure worn out. Where do you measure the shafts that the gears ride on I don't know if I can because my caliper only goes to 2 decimal points and not 3 or does it not matter about measuring them?

OK I do know that rounded dogs can be bad i just dont know how bad is too bad. Im guesing even a small amount isnt good? Ill send a Pic after a take one.

Also is it possible for the reverse shift fork to effect the forward engagement from reverse?
