I have a 2001 warrior and It was running fine less than a month ago- then the other day I went to start it and It would only idle with the choke on no matter what- even after letting it warm up for more than 10 minutes, as soon as I cut the choke off It would die.

Any suggestions?

check your intake boot, it may be torn and is your airfilter clean?

Airfilter is spotless, Just cleaned it AFTER the last time I went riding.

What/Where is that boot

if you take the carb off, check the boot again, even a hairline split will mess you up.

Don't leave the gas on or in the carb when it sits for a while.

Took the carb apart and cleaned it- It was spotless before but i still cleaned it all.. no tear or anything in boot- anything else??

did you shoot compressed air through all the passages in the carb? make sure your jets are clear?

Yup.. Its still doin the same thing- its shooting air out of where the air filter should be and popping... Maybe rejet it???

it wouldn't need to be rejeted all of the sudden unless you changed something, something happened that is causing it to run lean, that's why it only runs with the choke on

Did you soak it in a gallon of carb cleaner? Mine looked brand new and very clean, but it still had some blocked passages that the carb cleaner took care of. Soaked it for 4 hours or so.
