head rebuild

My boyfriend just picked up a nice 98 warrior now I know this has been asked a million times but whitish blue smoke is pooring out. Wanna do the work myself I know it needs valve seals and maybe rings. Do they have a complete top end kit or do you gotta piece it together. I want to make it faster but still reliable and not putting a hole in my pocket I was thinking the 366 kit. Any info appreciated links to parts to

a full top end kit with piston is like 130 but if you get the full top end with gaskets it should come with everything, and thats alot of oil

Is that with the valve seals? And where should I go? How much is it to just rebuild the whole head with a p&p hop and a je piston 12-1

I'd recommend tearing it down to check the bore and other components before buying any parts. My quad smoked like mad too, but the bore, piston and valve seals were very nice. Oil rings had lost all tension due to overheating and oil starvation.

Im not ordering nothing til I tear it all down. But I wanna replace everything while I have it apart. But I wanna find out where you guys are getting your stuff from. Where should I send my head to get a p&p and possible rebuild. And a 12/1 piston and whatever else I may need

I can do the head as far as P&P and any valve work it may need. I can also bore and hone the cylinder as well. We have a Sunnen CK10 cylinder hone for doing that work. You PM'd me about the head, and if you are interested in the cylinder work, I can shoot you a price for the whole job.
