Yeah I don't think I've heard of the one you gave. I've been running the yfm350 one for almost 15 years.

Man my 1st 4wheeler I ever had was a Kawasaki bayou 185 then my 230 quad sport I loved that quad then I never owned anymore till now man I grew up in the 80s man I miss the 80s bad that was the best yrs for a teenager to grow up in I graduated in 88

Well to start off with Thank you for your Services!!! So you’ve been to Beckley I live in the lil town of Bradley. My 98 was wrecked b4 I got it after I bought it is when I figured out that it had been wrecked if you look at the front of it right side is bent upward it took a hard hit behind the lower a arm the frame has a crease in it where they tried to straighten it so the frame is tweeked pretty bad I found a frame on marketplace went and bought it for 40 bucks and a real nice seat for 20 bucks the guy told me the frame was a 2000 after I got it I looked at the number on the frame found the 10th digit and discovered that it is a 1988 frame it has a couple lil cracks in it but it looks good and straight I’ll be able to tell more about it once I get it sandblasted I’m gonna rebuild it with all new upgraded parts and put my motor in it I’ll start out welding all the places up that need it and also add a gusset kit to it

If the new frame you got is an 88 the a arm mounts are different. Sounds like you are planning on doing some welding and have different a arms anyways so just keep in mind you might need to make something work up there

Yeah 88 is a much narrower frame but with zero frame recession.

Thanks I’ll keep that in mind I’ve been looking and thinking about getting the extended brackets for the new frame instead of the extended a arms what do you think about the extended brackets?? I like to have a game plan a head of time before I start my projects so I know which way to go with my builds

Get some fullflight a arms for the 88 frame.

Yeah wider brackets might get you the width but it ***** the geometry up. Similar situation with wheel spacers, looks good doesn't work right

If you run into a problem I have a couple of sets of a arms that or off 88 but they are old school original

Thanks man I appreciate the offer. But I found some full flight extended +2 or +3 for the 88 warrior but imma wait and get the frame completely welded up and figure out what color imma paint the frame b4 I start ordering anything it’s gonna be a complete rebuild except for the motor I’m gonna try an put everything brand new and upgraded on it but I do know when I get my new plastics I want to put the raptor 350 plastic on it

Im really leaning towards doing the colors and paint scheme on my 88 frame after newly built like the yfz 450 I want yellow back fenders and black front plastic with all black frame and wheels I Absolutely love the looks of that yfz
