Help 01 se warrior is being weird

so I just changed the oil and before I changed it I ran it to heat up the oil before draining it and after changing the oil it turns over and is getting gas but no spark I'm thinking cdi cause I changed the coil and still nothing and the orange wire that plugs into the coil had a couple quick pulses of power go through it and then nothing while I was testing it and the orange wire back by the cdi was grounding out on frame before I fixed it a couple days ago so I'm thinking it fried the cdi when it was grounding out on frame any one have a 01 cdi for sale? or anyone have any other thoughts? what wire do I test on cdi to verify that its bad?

could I rewire the harness so I can run the 92 cdi on the 01?
or does the rectifier have anything to do with power going to the coil?

I posted this at 3:30 and nobody has offered any help or incite on what could be the problem or what to try before buying parts come on guys a little help please!!!! it is now 11pm

ok now I am really ******* stumped after letting it sit from 3:30pm till just now I went out and turned the key on and pushed the button and she fired right up and run great what the hell would have caused her not to get any spark at 3:30pm and now all of a sudden at 11:30pm she fires right up and runs fine? if anybody can answer this for me it would be great kinda the same thing the 92 was doing Stator? cdi? what is causing this and for me to have 2 warriors with the same prob is just knucking futs

went out and tried starting her again and no spark again??? What the hell is going on???please help me before I go crazy

alright so I think I might have figured it out, the neutral safety switch that plugs into the brake perch when I mess with the wires where they plug into the harness I can get it to fire so I thought I would bypass it and when I unplug and connect the 2 wires together at the harness the start button don't work at all but when I plug the switch back in it works? but doesnt fire all the time I bypassed both these switches on my 02 and never had this prob. One is the neutral safety switch and what is the other one?could a bad neutral switch down by the shifter cause it not to start? cause the neutral light doesnt work no power going to it when in neutral please let me know asap so I can figure this **** out

I wish i could help you, this **** is why i was scared removing my harness, ill be watching ur thread, i wish i could help, i got hundreds of pics of harness if that can help ya, let me know

kinda feel dumb asking but what wire or wires do I check with the ohm meter and do I turn it over or just turn key on? and what should the ohm's be? all help will be greatly appreciated guys
Need someone to walk me through this please

Might be one of your grounds somewhere. My bike ran like **** and sometimes not at all. I tried all the basic stuff to make it run better with little result. I had spark but it was weak and apparently not enough to perform well. So I checked all the grounds and found that the ground from my coil wire was not connected to anything. So I hooked it up to the battery and bam!!! Running warrior. I wish you luck on your bike.

checked all grounds all good but can't get any power to go threw the light blue neutral wire even way back by the relay nothing could one of those relays cause her not to have spark?

don't have an ohm meter yet so can't check the stator but could a bad rectifier cause issues like this?
