HID power requirements?

I have a 55W HID kit sitting here and was thinking about putting it on my warrior, would it require a high output stator though?

DX has them , and i used them on quads and dirtbikes b4 and best of all Free S&H and low cost

DDMtuning.com is where I got mine. I got it for my car but for some reason it doesn't like to work consistently on my car so going to give it a try on something else.
