Does anyone know or have an idea the difference in power between a 10.5 to 1 and a 12 to 1 piston. I'm looking at some je 85mm bore pistons. I know I'll have to mix gas with the 12 to 1, is it really worth the difference?

yeah I'm thinking it's too much of a pain always need to keep race fuel around, but if it make a hell of a difference then maybe worth it.

the guy at vito's told me that the 12:1 is also rough on the starter. thats why i decided not to get 12:1

i got 12:1 in mine and it starts earsier than my 87 with stock?? and i run airplane fuel... lol

well, ****...

it doesn't have a problem burning av? i tried av 100 and it wouldn't completely burn it.

no problem at all.. you just have to make sure you get the gas not kerosene,,,, i believe its 100 octane too...i run 100LL is a low lead gasoline where the JET A is kerosene.... another nice thing about airplane fuel is that is will not gum up like regular gas will so it is good for letting it sit in your lawnmowers over the winter too,,, lol

its 4.359 a gallon here were i live and race fuel was 7.879 a gallon for the cheapest
