Hey all, now that I have my quad running again I think I am getting an HMF Slip on.

Has anyone used an HMF before? Would I notice a noticable power gain?

Also, the site offers free jets with the purchase of the pipe. So what jets should I have them ship to me?

Right now Im running a K &N Air Filter, with stock airbox and lid ON.

The jetting is stock now.

Thanks for the input.

id start with a 148 or 150. those pipes are suppose to be one of the best.
those jets are a good start if you can get more free do it. You elevation and mods are the 2 main things to change jets. When I run at sea level I run a 152.5 main but at 6000ft above I got back to the stock jet and I'm still a little rich. Each machine is a little different and it will take a little time to get it right but the end results are well worth it. And I hear those pipes rock. Also I'd take the lid off your airbox, the k&n filter no lid and correct jetting will make a difference.

whats the best way to check this? just buy 4 or 5 spark plugs and run it for a little and see the color of the plug right?

I only need to change the main also right?

I would maybe up your pilet jet one size I think the 1st size up is a 45 since your there and they are set a little lean. To do the plug chop you run the quad go though some gears and then shut it off while still holding the gas, let it stop by it's self, pull the plug and check it, if it's black it's rich. You should start out rich and work your way until it leans out.

dudes got a drop in K&N. Can't remove the lid completely, but you can deff. cut it.
