I got a ticket!

Then I would print out the section about it, and go down to the library and rent out the book that states the law in it, and take that to court, and get out of the ticket. If you have the book that states the law, and the local regulations where it doesn't state it as illegal in your town, Then I couldn't see how the ticket woiuldn't be dropped. At most you would have some court fees of like $30 to cover.

Hmmmmm.............you are right in stating that.

I know in Pa. your suppose to have insurance on your quad. Along with having it registered with DNCR (or whatever the *******s intials are)


Helmets must be worn (but if your on a street bike there is no helmet nec. GO FIGURE) YADDA YADDA YADDAAAAAAAA.

So I guess what I'm getten at is, the insurance fine here is liek 300 ....
registrtaion is 200 ( i think) And whatever else they can come up with.

So I would check into these laws in your state before I irratate these guys and have toss the book at ya............

Mines registered, I have insurance (not required by law in MN), and I was wearing a helmet, Shift chest protector, Shift Combat boots, Troy Lee pants, Troy Lee jersey, Troy Lee gloves, etc. So I have all bases covered no matter what they try to say. I was in the right and shouldn't have to waste my time. The sheriff should have known the law and didn't.

I've been caught twice tearing the **** out of utility property (the powerline trails) and only received a $75 ticket and only had to split it with the two or three others that were with us. The one day the DNR caught us twice but only gave us the one ticket. The other ticket was from a federal park officer (very bad, guy was an *******!!!) but he did the same and only gave us one ticket to split for 75 as well. Paying 30 bucks is well worth tearing the **** out of the utility trails!!! I'll be going there again this weekend to tear the **** out of them once more!!! ;D ;D ;D

Sounds like you have all the bases covered.............I'd go for it.
