I went out last night riding and I've got my idle set down lower then stock (not sure at the rpm's) but my friend got stuck so I left the bike idling and the high beams on for light. Then I noticed they started to go dim and then went off, it did that in about 10-15 mins or so. Is that normal?

I dunno, I never left mine idling with the lights on for that long. The charging system probably wasn't designed for that, since there's usually no reason to have your lights on unless you're actually riding.
