I guess the aluminum part of the manifold can be ported a bit but how can ya port rubber, lol. It kinda scares me to have to even grind inside the manifold much b/c the rubber bond seems so vulnerable. The slightest lil thing causes it to tear.

That is why I really don't see the point of going to a 39mm carb.

FYI, a 39mm FCR is a big mofo! Had to boil the Rappy intake in water & liderar it over the carb while it was hot to get it on. Gonna need a new clamp of some sort though, stock Rappy is waaay too small.
