install baffle

is it even possible to put a baffle back into the stock muffler once the original has been removed? i need to make it quieter and everything on it is stock. the baffle is not that expensive and would buy one if i knew it would just go back in.

It will go back in, you just will need the 13mm screw that holds it in the muffler. You may have to pop it with a hammer to get it all the way in, its a snug fit.

thanks mopar. I just ordered a baffle (PIPE, OUTLET according to parts fiche) from boatnjetski.com for $43. Hopefully it goes as smoothly as you say.

I actually thought about buying one for mine, but I got used to the loudness of not having a baffle.

I don't like the backpressure it has without the baffle. if i cover half the exhaust with my hand and rev it up, the engine runs a helluvalot smoother
