Why even mess around with a used one? A brand new one is cheap, like 30-40 bucks. They crack due to age, so I don't know why you'd even want a used one.

I've got one, no cracks, no tears off my '99. Took it off because I swapped the carb out. You're talking about the one that goes between the carb and head right?

Yamarider, OEM parts are a good deal more expensive here in Canada, even when taking the exchange rate into account.

That's the one.
I am new to the Warrior so I don't know if it is the same as my '87. If so, give me a price please.

It will likely be a couple months before I start my tear-down (I am in no rush) but I WILL be intimate with this bitch by the time I am done.

Well according to an online parts fiche, they're the same thing, 1 number in the model number is different but they cost the same so I'm guessing that number's just there to differentiate between years.

How about $25 shipped?

If nothing else had come along I would have just fab'd 1 out stainless. It is likely good to have a little damping from the rubber though.
Do you do paypal?
How about a link to the parts fiche? or is it like the 1 on Yamaha.motogrid.com

Shipped, but Canada Post is so ridiculous that it pisses me off.

They charge 12 ******* dollars just to ship a little carb boot in an envelope a few hundred kilometres, they add $1.20 to the price of shipping for an, I quote "Loose stamp sales", what the **** is that supposed to be? Then they charge $0.70 for fuel. Aren't those supposed to be included in the shipping price? They're just screwing everybody over like that, so many ******* hidden fees that they never tell you about until you're about to pay for everything. Looks like your $8 shipipng method and $1 envelope now cost $12.

Anyway, my rant is over, next time I ship something I'll get the full total and make the buyer pay that, they better tell me the full price before I'm about to pay next time.

Sorry to hear that.
They really do seem to nail us on the little things, a 20# pipe likely wouldn't cost much more.
Post is managed by the same fucked up federal government that brings us wonderful things like gun registration.

If there is a next time, maybe I can catch you close to your home turf.
Thanks

Maybe, would be cool to go riding with another member here. You know any good places to ride? Trail systems, maybe even XC tracks?

Sorry - I don't
I have fun pissing around on the trails at the hunt camp (once a year).
I really don't ride much, my buddies and I are old guys married with children and usually don't have time. Sitting around with beer, shooting the **** usually finishes off what little spare time I have.

I am always open to offers. Not interested in track riding but trails are good. Are you bringing the beer?

Doubt it, I'm only 16 so getting it might be some trouble. :p I just need to find some non-official trails, my warrior is far from trail legal. :D

Also, if you didn't know already, check out www.mudhole.ca, it's a site for every AT related in ontario.

Please explain the meaning of "trail legal", I am unaware of such regulations.

Spark arrestor, registration, insurance, exhaust noise limit, trail pass and at least a G2 driver's license. There could be more. I have none of those.

Aahhh - you are talking about rules for a private trail system.
I thought spark arresters were only for 2 stroke? Is this actually a special muffler for a quad? - government rating?

You need an arrestor for anything with a motor on trails as far as I know. I think noise has to be under 90-something dB.
