Intermittent spark... ??

So I have had this issue where I have spark but it is inconsistent. I wasn't able to start it and tested for spark and there was nothing. I tried today and was able to get it to start (ran great) so I shut it off and tried it again a minute later and nothing... So I checked for spark and it was inconsistant. When I first pressed the start button it would have spark but then the spark would stop. The 2 prong male plug on the stator reads 280 ohms and the other two plugs read at 1 ohm or less.

What would it be?
