I know that FST sells an 11:1 JE pistson for their 366 kit but I also se a 10.5:1 version on Powroll's site aswell as ebay and JE's web site which one is lightest and produces the best power? Also were is a good place to get the Megacycle 252X1 cam?

Thanks

Also alba claims they have a 10:75.1 JE custom made piston that uses all overbore sizes not just two as the standard and 85mm that everybody sells.

I spoke with Mickey at FST and he claims to that his pistons are 11:1 is it possible that FST has theirs custom made by JE like Alba?

Mabe so, I had thought that the JE catalog only offers the 10.50:1 so I figured he couldn't them anymore.

I dont know either Dave do you think it would be a big difference between the two? Also i noticed that you have the 446 FST kit in your 02 warrior how much of a diff would you say it produced? How does it compare to other larger cc bikes?

All I say is it fucken rips. There really isn't much comparison with other quads because this engine has so much torque, those 450 machines can only dream of this.

How does it compare to a raptor 660? How much did it cost to install start to finish and have you had any reliablity issues?

After working on a 660 engine I will never buy one, total POS. My guess is going up to a stock one or lightly modded you would burn him.
I have pic's of alba's pistons up close and also 12:1 JE warrior pistons. They look the excate same. This is why I never went with there pistons. I believe they use a little thicker gasket to lower compression but that is just my guess as they will not give me any info on it. You can try calling them...
I have the new style JE 10.5:1 piston 85mm. I have around 175psi cold cranking compression with a huge cam. I believe that is a little more then what 10.5:1 comes to....
FST most likely uses off the shelf JE pistons.

No reliability issues that were'nt my fault. I just never changed the oil right after the initial start and the oil pick up screen was clogged with fibers from all the rags I used to wipe the motor down, and it caused no oil to flow to the head killing the cam and both rockers.

I can spank a piped 660 through the trails and keep up with them on top speed. That 660 engine is garbage thats why it's long gone and replaced by the 700.

Man that sounds like an awesome setup you have. I dont have a Warrior but a 04 Wolverine that I am looking to build I just dont have the funds for a 446 nor the know how to do it myself. I think right now I am going to do the 366kitwith the 10.5:1 or maybe the Alba 10.75:1 with a Megacycle 252x1 cam and port and polish of the head. I already have an HMF slipon, K&N w/Proflow adapter, Dynojet and EPI clutch kit. I am hoping that all of the upgrades that i have together will get me to somewhere around 25hp at therear wheels what do you think?

This changes things a bit, you didn't say what you had. For the Wolvy I wouldn't be looking for cam with such long duration, I would rather see you go with the megacycle 252X2. The Wolverine is about 60 lbs heavier then a Warrior and with the 252X1 being topend oriented, it will really make a 4x4 quad sluggish in the low end, plus you can't play around with sprokets like we can so you cannot move your powerband around. I would get the standard Dynatek CDI, JE piston, good exhaust if you don't have one, Megacycle 252X2 and if you got a few extra bucks get your head ported, this will make a nice torquey motor.

Don't try to build the motor like a Warrior BC they are two different animals. If you build that motor like I just said you will be very happy with it. Hell I would love an older Wolverine. Give Mickey at FST a call and see if he still dose the manuel clutch conversion on the wolverines, that would make it even more awsome.

Yeah I was confused on the cam number but the 252x2 is the one I was thinking of. I currently have an HMF pipe I didnt know dynatek mad a cdi for the wolverine.
