sorry i read the sticky on jetting, my question is should i go ahead and buy the fmf jet kit thats about $50-$55 bucks or should i just replace the main jet, i see that evrything stays stock except the main. i live in maryland so no altitude problems i would hate to spend money if all i need to do is bump up the main jet, running wiseco .20 K&n filter and a fmf megamax pipe i just put piston in so it was never jetted before. if anyone has a good idea of what size to go to that would be great, Thanks

save your money, buy a few jets up in size and some spark plugs and have fun finding your right jetting. I'd say get one up on your pilot too.

I just got an hmf pipe and a k and n air filter and just bought a 152.5 main jet and the thing is like a new machine now.

only costed me 3 bucks too.

I didnt up my pilot though cause they only had a 47.5 and that is too big

Wait, 47.5 is only one up from stock (I think, right?) That isn't to big, thats just right. One up on pilot and one or two up on main and your jetting should be just right.

Ya stock is 42.5 I aint worried About it now that it sounds and performance is good. I don't wanna keep opening the carb

egh, its kinda a pain unless you really know what your doing. I heard of people giving them away because they get so pissed at them. Mine really was never tuned right until I had my bike dyno'd. Now its perfect and the guy at the shop walked me through the very temperamental proper tuning. There definitely finicky. Oncwe you get them tuned in to you quad, the extra HP is well worth it. I will it was set up like that electron the new guy has his hands on, 38mm all the way through limits some of its potential power. And its a bitch to start in the cold, no choke!
