Has any of you ever put a yz490 motor in a warrior? I saw a 400ex with a cr500 in it and it got me thinking. There isn't too much wiring in the older 490s and they were air cooled. What do you think?

I dunno about the warriors, but when i was on blasterforum.com there were a couple people that had yz490 motors in their blasters, and man were they sick.....
That being said, a blaster is kids size machine compared to a warrior, so there should be plenty of room in there, to fit it, just gotta make mounts im sure somehow....

go for it dude! Let us know how it turns out. The kicker because it kicks backwards might give you issues. fitting the pipe is gunna take some time. But if you can wield and work with metal, you can make it fit just fine, I'd imagine.

Well heck if people are putting R1 engines (1000cc) in warriors im pretty sure a 490 would fit lol

When and if I ever blow my motor it may very well be my replacement. Hopefully I wont have to worry for a while lol
