how do you install this? anybody ever done it? i have never seen one and was wondering what difficulty it was

Take off your seat. Take off your airbox lid. Take out your airfilter. Oil new K&N (aerosol canned K&N oil, just spray evenly over all) and place it in. Then take out your carb and install a jet-kit, or do some personal fine tuning if you have the time (on carb) . I dont know if the rappys have a clamp on or slip and seal like the warriors do. But if its not a clamp on, search ebay for a kit, (filter, outerwear, and adaptor for a clamp instaed of slip, it gives a better seal and has that extras insurance we would all like.

Ive also heard of some people not re-jetting on some bikes because theyre jetted a hair fat from factory, so the k&n did the leaning out for them. Im not sue how much I would trust this, but It could save time to.

depends on what you're referring to as a "k&n kit" but regardless there's not a lot involved in installing any kind of air filter. If you decide to run it with the airbox lid off that's a whole other ballgame though, because you have to rejet the carb and that's all kinds of fun.

You really hate fooling with carbs huh Yama...LOL Just think once you get the 700 it'll be a thing of the past.

Yeah, I won't know what to do with all my spare time. What ARE you supposed to do when there's nothing wrong with your quad anyways? Oh yeah, that's right, you're supposed to ride it ;D. I haven't got to do that in a long time.

no i meant the clamp on conversion, i think i can get the parts for cheaper than the kit costs
