k i switched to the keihin pwk36 and if i have the needle on 3rd groove on the needle the quad will idle but when i go slow to 1/4 throttle the quad dies and shuts off, but if i quick rev it it opens up all the way, anyone have any clue wat the problem is jets r 55 pilot 145 main and the air screw turned out 2 3/4 turns no air box and kn filter. any help is appreciated thanx

if i do that it doesnt do nothing if i put the needle on the 5th groove it will run decent but wont idle, if i move it to the 4th or 3rd groove it idles but then dies

yeah its a 2 stroke carb but tell u wat it brought out alot of power in the warrior stroker motor, im only using wat i got to work with, thats all i can do with no money. But tell u wat topend that carb is sick just got to get it to idleand pull 1/4 throttle, ill get it situated 1 way or another. im thinkin if i go to a 52 pilot and 152 main ill b alright

What happens when you are off the throttle slowing down? Does it pop and backfire and ****? Then you are lean.. I'm going to guess maybe a pluged air jet. Or just the fact that it's to lean..

Remember so 2 stroke carbs are different.. The air screw is turned in to get a richer mixture at 0-1/4 throttle. Rather then a fuel screw on typical four stroke carbs which it turned out to get a richer mixture.

No other adjustment will effect this throttle setting (0-1/4) other then say, air screw.. pilot jet, fuel screw, air jet. The needle and the main really have very little to do with it so don't worry about adjusting them yet.

when im slowing down off the throttle it doesnt pop or nothing no backfiring at all sounds like it should
