Actually, a while back I read a comparison on one like that, that was a copy of the raptor 350. It wasn't the redkat, it was some other chinese brand, but the comparison was surprising. The quality of the welds and overall build seemed to be better with the off-brand one, and in addition they picked up where yamaha lacked, and put an oil cooler on it from the factory.

Why is it so expensive? Should be $2500 or less if made in China. Can buy the real deal for that price.
