Low speed screw stuck

I tried to adjust my low speed screw to richen up my idle a little. The screw would not turn. I installed a twist throttle kit. While the carb was out, I tried to turn the low speed screw. It is stuck and will not turn. The soft brass screw is just stripping. Has anyone had this problem?

I have considered removing the carb and soaking the screw in Liquid Wrench or WD40. I'm guessing the brass threads somehow got corroded.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had that problem with my stock carb...... you know what i did? Never worried about it.....
