Well 10 minutes ago I rode my first 450, it was an ltr-450 and all I can say is wow...It had a cherry bomb and no baffle and damn was that thing pretty wicked. Its geared pretty high but has the power to pull it easily. I just rode it around the yard but I was pretty impressed, never got passed 3rd gear though. I would say that I'm an intermediate rider no expert of course but the power was'nt uncontrallable or overwhelming but enough to make you wana ride it all day ;D I'm not sure what kina trail quad it would make since its pretty wide and geared tall but overall my short experience with it was pretty fun.

K ive riden the ltr450 and the yfz450 neather of them made me want to ride all day, i thought they were kewl but i saw no use in them for what i do, it would absolute crazyness in the woods and just get stuck in the mud. I could probly do some wicked hill climbs on them though. idk i wastn too impressed. The only big bike that i rode that i like is the outlaw 525 becuase that thing raped the trails and ate mud like a mofo. Idk none of the 450's i rode really impressed me.

Well yeah like I said I didnt know how it would perform in the trails but it was fun haulin ass from one end of the yard to the other lol.

O man i dont think you understand. That thing rapes in the trails, lucky me my friend is really nice and lets me ride it a lot. And man we only got that thing stuck once and that was because the front tier was raping into this rut when we were trying to go stair but everyones was doing it. But its amazing. We havent gotten to the good mud pit yet soo when it gets nice and hot out where really going to test it. And if it gets stuck he will have his dad polaris sportsman 800 with swamp lites and a 2 inch lift, and snorkles, to pull him out.

I dont really want to say anything but they seawed a hospitial because they did somthing to his brother and he died at 19, it was horable becuase he was a great kid. But anyways they getting like 5 million so they can get all this stuff now, its really wrong to think about it like that but i think everyone should know how they r just buying these 2 $8000 quads in a 2 week spand.

The LTR has a good starting platform, the biggest plus for me is the fuel injection. This is the plus about being in a 300+ member riding club, I get to try out many different types of quads. I dont know personally how this bike performs on the trails since I have only tested it on the dunes. In the dunes though I wasnt overly impressed. Launching was sluggish, and the stock gearing left some to be desired. Now with that said just dropping it a tooth in the front and it would be a duning son-a-bitch. But I guess if a person didnt want to do the tree shots and idiot holes and just wanted to scream on the flats then it would be fine. But what fun is that? I want a machine that will shoot me out of the idiot holes, tree shots, and back ins.

Lt-r owwwnns, I have a friend at the track who use to ride a super highly modded yfz, and he got rid of it for a stock lt-r. best decision he ever made, from what he said.

They are a sweet ride. Nicest thing about them is they are competative racers out of the box:
Fuel injected,
50"inches wide from the factory
18" tires
Take out the baffle, plug in a cherry bomb, take off the air lid, and go racing.
