I know this is old news to you guys but ive allways been into 4x4's so ive allways spent my money on tires, lift kits, ect.but i put a few goodies on the warrior today.dg full exhaust, dyno jet stage 2 and a pro design pro flow kit where you just leave the lid off and man what a difference it made.i was afraid of spending the money and barely being able to tell i did anything but its allmost like a new quad now.sounds great, more power, better throttle response, she even wheelies easier now ;D.i never understood the sport atv appeal unless you just race but i believe im getting hooked now.

Another convert. What's next?you can't stop there. You might try a sprocket change, cheap but can make a big differance.

What kind of DG did you get? the newer series isn't bad but the stuff they were selling in the 90's, the RCM's and all that, is pretty much garbage. They start out ok at first, maybe slightly better than stock but loud as hell, and then the packing would blow out in a couple months and actually cause a loss of power over stock, plus being obnoxiously loud. It wouldn't be suck a big deal if the things weren't completely welded shut. At least their newer stuff is servicable somewhat and seems better designed.

No ,its not a brand new pipe,i dont even know which one it is, just says dg on it, bought it used off ebay.have no idea how old it is.and it is welded shut but it seems in good shape.Ill try it for awile and if it starts to suck ill buy a new setup, just did'nt want to sink a bunch of money in one untill i saw if i liked it or not but i allready see i do,so what would be a good pipe to buy?

There's tons of good pipes out there. Generally anything that sells for under $200 new is low end stuff like the original DG's and Cobras. I really like the HMF for the warrior, priced right around $230 and performs as well as anything else. It's just a nice all-around well made silencer. They don't make a full system, but the stock header actually flows sufficiently even for a heavily built motor. You can grind the weld off inside the flange and make it even more free flowing.

Some other good exhausts are Yoshimura, Pro Circuit, Big Gun, and Barker.

Watch ebay, there are usually some good deals going. Be careful that you're actually buying it for the warrior ATV, yamaha also makes a road star warrior cruiser and i think they have a snowmobile bearing the warrior name as well.
