So as I weight for my new tool to arrive so I can continue I have a question for everyone..

I plan on cleaning the hell out of everything and for sure puting in a new clutch set.. but what other repairs/upgrades should i do , be looking for .. I have never had this machine running but more power is always a good thing ..
I want the machine to be as reliable as possible so I have started collecting parts for an oil cooler .. thinking about a stage one cam too ..

new timing chain

so heres what im thinking so far..

1.new timing chain
2. a wisco 10.25:1 Compression top end kit
3.stage 1 hot cam
4. find someone with alittle experience to port and polish the head
5. install oil cooler.

Im sure the carb will need to be jeted for all of this .. maybe a bigger carb .. time to do some more research.

well my flywheel puller came today and lotts of fun came after ..

I pulled the flywheel and found were the chunk of metal I had found came from..
Heres some pics .. they will tell the story better ..

So i will need to buy a few things ...

Dose anyone have the flywheel side of the case they want to get rid of ... cheep
oh and some tranny parts.

It dose but at the same time i paid 250 for it so if i have to drop alittle money to get her back to tiptop shape ill still be ahead

so I finally have most of the parts for the rebuild and I finished tearing the motor apart .. I found that the oil pump is junk as well .. heres some pics of all the carnage I found .
