Motor starts by pullstart but not electric start

I think I have got all of the wiring squared away now, all I need is a thick red hotwire, I might take the one of my little bros quad, his quad isnt running anyway... Also, up front coming out of the wiring harness there is this little black thing that looks kinds like an o2 sensor, its just hanging loose. Any idea of what it goes to? Here is a pic.

That my friend is the problem causing switch that should be mounted in the clutch lever switch.
Search on here to see how to eliminate it in the future. Don't worry about it at the moment won't keep it from starting.

If itll start by pull but not starter and starter is functioning normal then it sounds like a stator

Good news guys, I got all the wiring figured out and re hooked where they were supposed to be and it fires right up now. All i need is a battery, I hooked it to the truck battery a minute ago and hit the start button and it fired right up. Now, I just need to figure out what to do with that little o2 sensor looking piece that I put in my last post. Can someone tell me what that does and where it goes?

So, I can just leave it unplugged? I have a parking brake block off anyway, so its not like its gonna serve any purpose...

Yea man, I'd like to personally thank you,YAMAHAULER and Duneracerweston, you guys stuck with me and helped me out alot. I would hate to think how much my local repair shop woulda charged me to fix something so simple. I just had to situate the wires and reconnect a few, but knowing them, they woulda bought a new harness or some **** and charged an arm and a leg just because they can. So, I dodged a bullet there for sure. I just gotta pick up a battery now and Ill be good to go.

Ive saw a little about those and I wanna do em eventually, but I need to know what exactly they do and how to do them, I cant find any specific info on here, maybe im lookin in the wrong places.

The pen spring mod replaces the factory spring for the acelerator pump with a bid pen spring which is stiffer. The vavle stem cap mod closes the gap between the throttle linkage so it hits faster increases throttle response also and so does the pen spring mod
