Superbowl Sunday started off with a nice ride and ended up with my Warrior taking a plunge. Ah, the joys of California trail riding in the mountains. Hit a soft patch on top of hard pack while turning, except the kept moving in a straight line rather than turning, i.e., no traction. As a result of not being able to correct for this fast enough, bike was going off an embankment. I ditched it, not knowing what was on the other side, which was 150 ft drop down a steep hill and lots of bolders. Took 250 ft of tow strap, a truck, and five buddies to dig it out. Here's the damage, and after I just got in a bunch of new parts for it too. :-[

So all in all, the damage was 3 bent rims, a bent and twisted frame, bent light bar, scratched plastic, and a bent axle. Just got a frame off of e-bay for $175 which is good, but this is going to be 4-5 month project to get enough money together to put it back together. Enjoy your guys ride, I miss mine already.

damn, thats a bad deal. good thing you ditched it, i dont think you would be repairable like the warrior.

holy **** mollie....you were telling me about this and i didnt think it was that bad. That sucks. I hope you do good with it, if you have the money/parts in hand it shouldnt take longer than a couple of days. I rebuilt a compleat warrior in less than a day and half but we had all the parts and the time.

Damn good thing you ditched the quad. Sounds like a bad crash. Hope you get it back together soon and get back riding.

wow thats bad. look at that axle lol. you're really lucky you bailed and i hope it doesnt take you too long to get her going again.

That sucks so bad man, Since you bought a new frame I would save the money and have it powdercoated.

S'all good. The mountain kicked my ass! ;D Oh well, I'll get even in a few months. I'm going to even the score!

BTW you guys all seem to be really happy with your HMF exhausts, figured nows a good time as any to start saving for a new exhaust. Where's a good place to get one? And does anyone have a stock head pipe they'd sell? I know this is the wrong place to ask, but figured what the hell.

wow man that sucks the big one......yeah i like the title...if i have any parts i can sell you let me know, my thread is in the classifieds

Damn! dude, That sucks!!! It's a VERY good thing you bailed, and i felt bad for my self cuz I dont have my quad, lol dude, Good luck for the rebuild, maybe this time it will be even badder!

Shop, it wont spark!! lights come on, it wants to turn over, but just doesnt, spark plug is good, fuse is good, i THINK it might be either a cdi or coil.... Hell probally just a loose wire! what do you guys think it could be? dont mean t o jack your thread
