I wouldnt upgrade your exhaust.... the hmf isnt much if at all better than the DG excellerator.

That blows dude.... i cracked/bent my frame in the same exact spot... they all break there its a really weak spot.

Only thing i didnt mess up anything but my frame and 1 front wheel which i bent back anyway.

The rims look like they could all be bent back, which is a good thing. You didn't mention anything about A-arms. I don't know if there's anything wrong with them or not (bent/twisted?) but if you need some let me know. I have a stock set I'll send if you need them. You pay shipping though....

DSWarrior350 thanks for the info on the exhaust. Just figured since I was going to be dropping some money on the bike, maybe get a better exhaust, but if the HMF isn't that much better than the xcellerator, then I'll just keep using it.

Actually, the arms were fine, which was a huge suprise for me. That's usually the first thing that gets broken. Thanks for the help with that though Yakuza.

Exile, I would be interested in the a-arms and shocks, just message me for how much you want for them.

I know this isn't the place to do this, but there is a new development on the bike though. The engine turns over and is fine, however, prior to starting it, I found there was little to no oil in it. When I got to the bike at the bottom of the drop to shut everything off, it was on its nose. I figure a lot of oil drained out of the crankcase exhaust tube, and also some of it settled into the cylinder head. I thought the oil would settle back down after a couple hours, but it hasn't yet. But now when I fire it up, (yeah I put some oil in) it starts pushing out smoke and smells like burning oil, which would mean I am burning oil. It's never done this before.
What do you guys think is the culprit? Just wondering, cause I was thinking my best option is to completely tear down the tope end and clean it, and get a new set of gaskets for it.

I wouldn't worry about the oil burning yet. How long did you let it run? Oil can take a while to burn off.

I let it run for minute and a half just idling. It was putting out smoke, and I kinda was freaking a little cause I don't want to to pit the cylinder head or anything. Do you think I just need to let it run and burn it off, and then just replace the spark plug afterward?

i'm not sure what you're worried about with pitting the cylinder head. It's just burning oil. Did you try revving it up or anything?

Yeah I revved it a little, and it was little slow in responding, but that was mostly due to it being cold...didn't really let it warm up too much. But it did not have really any problems of revving so to speak, just pushing out smoke.

Yeah what DS said, mabe when you get the new frame you could get it strengthend at that spot with some gussets, glad your ok though, sucks for the warrior.

Thanks for the help with the engine. I let it run for a few minutes which burned off the residual oil and nows the motor is purring like a champ again, with no smoke! ;D I'm stoked on that.

its soo funny b/c i looked at the first pick and was like.. man thats not that bad... and then each picture just got worse and worse... ah ah.. amazing .. hope the fix does not cost to much for you buds...

Pissing on mountain sounds like a plan, so long as I'm not standing in poison oak.

And no I will not post pictures of myself doing that ;D.
