With any luck this diagram is for the correct year
Relays usually have their own scribbles on them that show their rated amperage and sometimes even have a pinout and diagram printed right on them. Could be so epne tossed a black one in and the green ones are the same layout bit higher amperage which would explain alot.
 
Ok thanks but I'm still not sure how to bypass it tho haha sorry this is my first real electrical problem I've taken on my self-esteem
 
I got my first quad the other day. 97 warrior for 900. It's beat up pretty bad but it runs or it did! Idk I changed the battery to the right size one and it blew the fuse as soon as I touch the leads to the battery.

Anyway haha here is what she looks like before
I finally got my warrior running i ended up having 2 bad cdi's I got one from drw and i have spark! Now I have to figure out y it won't stay running but it starts. Haha I can't wait till it's running right and I can really start to upgrade this beasts looks and power

That all depend on what's causing it i am having a bit of a cash flow issue at the moment I wish i knew tho I want to take it out but I also know with the sounds it's making it could be major
 
Good luck on it being less expensive and extensive than it sounds.
